The Russians from barrel artillery fired at residential areas in the Nikopol and Krivoy Rog districts.
The chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentin Reznichenko, announced this on Telegram.
"The night was tense in the Nikopol and Krivoy Rog regions... The Russians hit residential areas with cannon artillery. Nikopol was shelled twice. 30 Russian shells flew there. A 56-year-old man was injured," Reznichenko wrote.
According to him, more than 20 high-rise buildings and private houses, cars, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged in the city. Enemy shells severely damaged the local bakery, kindergarten, library and several shops.
Because of the shelling, fires started in the apartment and the private courtyard, but the flames were extinguished.
"In the Krivoy Rog region late in the evening, the Zelenodolsk community came under enemy fire. People are safe. Several private houses were damaged in Velikaya Kostroma. 350 families were left without electricity. Power engineers are already repairing the lines," Reznichenko said.
In other areas, according to the chairman of the OVA, there were loud sirens, but there were no enemy attacks.
