The Operational Command "South" reported the destruction of 51 Russian invaders and their equipment, as well as another control defeat of the Kakhovka bridge.
This is stated in a message on the Command's Facebook page following the results of the current operational situation in southern Ukraine on September 23.
"The activity of our aviation was equal to twenty strikes against the enemy. An enemy Mi-8 helicopter was destroyed in the Mykolaiv region, and a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down by the forces and means of air defense in the Berislav region of the Kherson region," the report says.
Ukrainian rocket and artillery units completed about 290 fire missions, including destroying a pontoon crossing in Novaya Kakhovka, two concentrations of weapons and equipment in the Berislav region, three concentrations of forces and equipment in the Kakhov and Kherson regions, an electronic warfare station in the Krutoi Ravine area, anti-aircraft missile system "Tor" in the Bashtansky district of the Nikolaev region, a column of weapons and equipment - in Kakhovka.
"Another control defeat of the Kakhovka Bridge has been confirmed," the report says.
Other losses of the enemy during the combat day are: personnel - 51, 152 mm howitzer "Msta-B", a tank and 16 units of other armored vehicles.
It is also noted that 15 enemy ships and boats are maneuvering in the Black Sea, including three surface and one underwater Caliber carrier. There are 28 of them at the ready, the command added.
It is also noted that the Shahid-136 drone attacked on the evening of September 23 the positions of Ukrainian troops on the line of contact in the Bereznegovatsky bulk of the Nikolaev region. When trying to attack the direction of the port of Yuzhny, another "Shahid-136" was shot down.
