In the Kharkiv region, at a recreation center in the village of Novoplatonovka, Borovsk territorial community, law enforcement officers found the bodies of two murdered men.

"In the Kharkiv region, the police found the bodies of two tortured men - investigators are recording war crimes of the Russian Federation in the de-occupied territories. The bodies of the killed people were found at a recreation center in the village of Novoplatonovka, Borovskoye TG. Their hands were handcuffed. The dead have gunshot wounds to the head. The age of the dead is approximately from 30 to 35 years old. They were dressed in civilian clothes. The bodies were in a sandy pit measuring 2.5x2.5 meters and 4 meters deep. The identities of the dead are being established," the report says.
As noted by the police, according to preliminary data, Russian special forces consisting of 250-350 people were stationed at the specified base. They were periodically rotated.
"Employees of the investigative teams and experts examined the scene of the incident, collected material evidence. The necessary examinations were ordered. Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of prison imprisonment for up to 15 years or life imprisonment," the National Police added.
