Ukrainian Helicopters Airlines donated off-road vehicles and ATVs (together 32 pieces of equipment), as well as medical equipment and other equipment worth UAH 21 million, to the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine as charitable assistance.
All this will be received by the units of the National Guard, which since the beginning of a full-scale war have been defending our land in the hottest spots in different directions.
"This equipment will be involved in order to increase the efficiency of their tasks: mobility, the supply of ammunition, the evacuation of the wounded," said Colonel Oleg Kravchenko, head of one of the structural divisions of the NGU.
The National Guard emphasized that volunteers play an important role in improving the efficiency of the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and, in particular, units of the National Guard. Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian Helicopters has been helping not only the soldiers of the National Guard, but also those who defend our land in the ranks of the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service, and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
The company provides fighters with off-road vehicles, body armor, protective helmets, thermal imagers, quadrocopters, optics, attachments for small arms, field first-aid kits and other necessary equipment. In general, to date, the company "Ukrainian Helicopters" has provided such assistance in the amount of more than 52 million hryvnias.
The help from "Ukrainian helicopters" does not end there. The company is already preparing to transfer another batch of aid to units of the National Guard and the National Police of Ukraine. This time we are talking about pickups, body armor and wetsuits with a total cost of about UAH 31.78 million.
