Ukraine will receive American F-16 multifunctional light fighters, and after them - A-10 and F-15 aircraft.
Confidence in this was expressed by the President of the American analytical center The Potomac Foundation, Philip Karber, in an interview with Channel 24.
“As for aircraft, it takes time to train the pilots and the ground crew that maintain these aircraft. A sufficient number of spare parts, mechanics, etc. is required. At the same time, I must say that there are many retired pilots and other specialists in the world who have worked with F "16. And not only in the US - there are almost thousands of them in Europe. They could become volunteers who train your guys, and they will already teach many others," he said.
“Another aircraft under consideration is the A-10. It is easy to learn to fly, but it is more important for you to get the F-15 Eagle. It is effective against air defenses and can also strike at long range. Therefore, leading American military specialists, Generals Clark, Breedlove and others are of the opinion that we need to start with F-16s and then add A-10s as they are available. And for the future, provide Ukraine with F-15 aircraft," Carber added.
