Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed the attacks of Russian invaders in the areas of 17 settlements.
This is stated in the operational information as of 06:00 of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vyemka, Bakhmutskoye, Krasnaya Gora, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Ozeryanovka, Zaitsevoe, Odradovka, Andreevka, Pervomaiskoye, Krasnogorovka, Vesele, Kamenka, Pobeda, Nevelsk, Novomikhailovka and Ternovye Pody," - reported to the General Staff.
It is noted that the occupiers are trying to hold the temporarily occupied territories and are focusing their efforts on attempts to disrupt the active operations of the Defense Forces in certain areas. At the same time, they are conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdeevsky directions.
"During the day, the invaders launched 7 missile and 12 air strikes, carried out about 80 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems," the report says.
Thus, more than 20 settlements were subjected to enemy attacks. In particular, Slavgorod, Belovodie, Ugledar, Redkodub, Gulyaipolskoye, Novoandreevka, Zaporozhye and Nikolaev.
"For attacks on Ukrainian cities over the past day, the enemy also used seven Iranian-made Shahed-136 unmanned aerial vehicles. Three of them were shot down, and four reached the cities of Zaporozhye and Nikolaev," the message says.
In the Volyn and Polesye directions, the situation has not undergone significant changes.
In other directions, the enemy carried out shelling: on Seversky - from mortars and cannon artillery in the areas of the settlements of Blesna, Gay and Senkovka of the Chernihiv region and Starikov, Sumy region, on Slobozhansky - from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery, in 18 districts of settlements, including Glubokoe, Udy, Ogurtsevoe, Strelechye, Kolodeznoye, Dvurechnoye, Neskuchnoye.
In the Kramatorsk direction - from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Disputed, Belogorovka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Razdolovka, Serebryanka, Grigorovka, Dronovka, Vesele. In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Yakovlevka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutsky, Ivangrad, Pollnoy, Mayorskaya, New York, Vyemka, Rozdolovka, Veseloe and Odradovka; on Avdeevsky - Avdeevka, Krasnogorovka, Pervomayskoye and Novomikhailovka were exposed to fire.
"The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions. Infrastructure in the areas of 16 settlements was damaged by fire. Others included Vremevka, Temirovka, Olgevskoye, Gulyaipolskoye and Zheleznodorozhnoye," the General Staff noted.
In the Yuzhnobugsky direction, areas of more than 27 settlements, which are close to the line of contact, were shelled from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery.
