The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated five more settlements in the Kherson region.
This was announced by the speaker of OK "South" Vladislav Nazarov.
The situation in the Yuzhnobugskaya operational zone is tense, but controlled.
The defense forces continue to engage enemy forces by fire, disrupting its command and control systems and logistical support.
"Our units secured success in liberating Novovasilievka, Novogrigorievka, Novaya Kamenka, Trifonovka and Chervony in the Berislav region. Stabilization measures are ongoing to reanimate social and critical infrastructure there," Nazarov said.
The enemy is intensively conducting aerial reconnaissance around 17 settlements along the front line and in the newly liberated territories. The shelling of Ukrainian positions continues.
On the morning of October 11, under the cover of a massive missile attack throughout Ukraine and, in particular, in the south, the enemy, with the help of a platoon and with the support of tanks, tried to counterattack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Ishchenko area near the forest belts. Under fire defeat, the enemy suffered losses and retreated, they said in command.
