The mayor of Nikolaev Alexander Senkevich announced this in his Telegram.
"After the first night, Nikolaev was massively shelled. There is a hit in a five-story residential building. The top two floors are completely destroyed, the rest are under rubble. Rescuers are working on the spot. All information about the consequences is in the morning," he said.
