As a result of night shelling of Nikopol, a man was wounded, he is now in the hospital in serious condition.
This was announced in his Telegram by the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentin Reznichenko.
"Five attacks and one wounded. The Russian occupation troops terrorized the Nikopol region with Grads and heavy artillery all night. Nikopol suffered the most. The occupiers wounded a 59-year-old man there. He is in the hospital. In serious condition," he said.
Reznichenko also noted that more than 30 multi-storey and private houses, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged in the city. More than 2,000 families were left without electricity. The energy companies are already working.
"Russian shells also landed in a hospital, a kindergarten, a museum of local lore, a cathedral, shops, a market, a factory and a post office," he added.
Reznichenko also said that people in the Marganets community were not injured during the shelling. The extent of the destruction is being ascertained.
He also noted that in other areas the night is with anxiety, and without enemy attacks, and for this moment it is calm.
