In the south of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to successfully resist the Russian invaders. Over the past day, it was possible to destroy 36 opponents, 5 ammunition depots and inflict 14 strikes on the enemy air defense system.
This data was shared by the press center of the Operational Command "South" in a recent report on the situation at the front.
The main enemy losses in the south on October 12: 36 personnel, a tank, 2 tankers, 2 armored and automotive vehicles, 3 large-caliber artillery systems, 4 helicopters and 5 ammunition depots.
The enemy tried to carry out offensive operations in the areas of Kostroma and Sukhoi Stavka. Daytime attacks ended with losses for the Rashists, which forced them to retreat.
The enemy continues to use kamikaze drones to bombard peaceful settlements. During the day, such drones were shot down over the Vinnitsa and Cherkasy regions in the zone of responsibility of OK "South".
"A ship grouping of the enemy fleet of 12 warships is maneuvering in the same area [of the Black Sea]. 3 large landing ships, 2 surface missile carriers with 16 Calibers are ready for use," the Yug OK added.
