During the day, the Russian invaders fired from mortars, rocket and cannon artillery at the settlements of the Kharkiv region along the line of contact and the border with the Russian Federation.
This was announced by the chairman of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
According to him, the city of Volchansk in the Chuguevsky district and the villages of the Volchansky community, the village of Dvuhletnoye in the Kupyansky district, the village of Kazachya Lopan in the Kharkov region and others were hit. As a result of the shelling, fires broke out in non-residential buildings.
According to the regional center for emergency medical care, a 45-year-old woman died as a result of the shelling of Lukyantsev in a day in the Kharkiv region. In the village of Solonitsevka, a 47-year-old woman was hospitalized with injuries. A 69-year-old man was hospitalized in the Kupyansky district.
In the Izyum district, two people turned to doctors with previously received injuries - a 54-year-old man and his 16-year-old son.
Sinegubov added that demining continues in the region. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service neutralized 630 explosive objects.
