Over the past 10 days, Russia has inflicted about 190 massive strikes on 16 regions of Ukraine.
This was announced during a briefing by the speaker of the State Emergency Service Alexander Khorunzhiy.
"According to operational information, from October 7 to October 18, Russia launched about 190 massive strikes with missiles, kamikaze drones and artillery in 16 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv," he said.
According to him, the largest number of strikes were inflicted on the Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv. The strikes were carried out mainly on critical infrastructure facilities, in particular energy and civilian facilities. As a result of massive shelling, more than 70 Ukrainians were killed. More than 240 people were injured. More than 380 objects, 240 houses and other objects were damaged.
In the period from October 7 to October 18, about 4 thousand settlements in 11 regions of Ukraine were de-energized.
Also, Khorunzhiy noted, in the period from October 7 to 18, more than 120 fires were extinguished, during which about 750 people were saved.
