On the morning of Friday, October 21, Russian troops attacked Zaporozhye with rockets, explosions thundered in the city.
The attack was reported by the head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Starukh.
"The enemy is attacking the regional center with missiles. Be in shelters! Follow the safety rules," he said.
Later, he said that as a result of an enemy attack, fragments of rockets could remain in the city:
"Don't touch, don't get close, don't take pictures. These pieces of ammunition are explosive. Take care of each other."
The details of the attack were reported by the secretary of the Zaporozhye City Council Anatoly Kurtev.
"Russian monsters again attacked Zaporozhye. Previously, residential buildings and the infrastructure of the city were damaged by enemy strikes. Detailed information about the destruction and victims is being specified. Russia is a terrorist country," he said.
Advisor to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko published the first photos from the place of "arrival". The rocket hit a residential building, as a result of the impact, a gas pipe broke through.
