Russian invaders fired on Nikolayev with S-300 rockets, killing a woman.
The mayor of Nikolaev Alexander Senkevich reported about it in Telegram.
"Around midnight, Mykolaiv came under fire from S-300 missiles, as a result of which a number of civilian objects were damaged," the mayor wrote.
Also, as a result of the shelling, the building of the educational institution was partially destroyed.
"A two-story residential building was completely destroyed. In another house, a fire broke out due to the hit of ammunition and their fragments," the mayor added.
In addition, windows and doors were broken in several private houses, the roof was damaged.
"In a medical facility, the blast wave and shrapnel knocked out OSB-plates, with which our construction teams sewed up the windows after the previous shelling," Sienkevich said.
According to him, it is now known that a woman died as a result of the shelling.
