Azerbaijan has sent energy equipment to Ukraine as humanitarian aid. The cargo includes 45 power transformers and 50 generators. A second batch is expected soon.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told APA that the equipment was provided by Azerenergy. He was sent to Ukraine on Saturday, December 10. Four trucks were needed to transport transformers and generators with a total weight of 52.2 tons.
The cost of power equipment amounted to 1,422,000 manats (more than $800,000). In the coming days, the second batch of humanitarian aid will be sent.
Since Russia's full-scale invasion, Azerbaijan has provided almost 30 million manat in aid to Ukraine. In translation, this is about $17.5 million.
