Pentagon confirms plans to transfer Patriot to Ukraine - VOA

The United States Department of Defense confirmed to journalists its intention to send Patriot missile defense systems to Ukraine.
An unnamed official told VOA Pentagon correspondent Carla Babb that the decision could be officially announced as early as this week, she writes on Twitter.
A US defense official confirmed to Voice of America that the Pentagon is preparing to send a battery of Patriot missiles to Ukraine to help defend the country from Russian missiles.
It is noted that the plan of the Pentagon must be approved by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and later it must be signed by US President Joe Biden.
