Norway will send ten bridges to Ukraine to restore passage in the areas affected by the hostilities.
This was reported by the press service of Ukravtodor in its official Telegram channel. It is noted that these are temporary bridge structures of the acrow / bailey type, which are suitable for the movement of heavy vehicles. They will allow not only to connect settlements, but also ensure the delivery of humanitarian cargo, the passage of ambulances, repair teams, and the evacuation of the population.
"The bridges, which total cost is NOK 30 million ($3 million), are financed from the humanitarian budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In Ukraine, their arrival is expected in January," the message says.
The department also noted that the crossings departed from the road administration in Bjorkelangen on December 13.
