In a forest in the Kharkiv region, a man with a 7-year-old child was blown up by an enemy mine. This was announced by the Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov.

"The civilian population of the Kharkiv region continues to suffer from mines and unexploded ordnance left by the Russian occupiers. Unfortunately, children suffer. In the area of the village of Bugaevka, Chuguyiv district, a 47-year-old man and a 7-year-old boy were blown up by an explosive device in the forest," he said.

According to Sinegubov, both received explosive injuries and were hospitalized. Doctors are now giving them all the help they need.

The chairman of the OVA called on everyone to be attentive and careful, especially in the de-occupied territories of the region.

“Do not visit forests, forest belts, do not go to the side of the road, etc. It can be life-threatening. In no case do not touch suspicious and incomprehensible objects, but immediately contact the police or rescuers of the State Emergency Service,” Sinegubov stressed.
