US President Joe Biden signed the 2023 budget, which provides for assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $45 billion.
The White House announcement notes that the law provides for appropriations "for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023, and for emergency assistance in connection with the situation in Ukraine and for other purposes."
On Twitter, Joe Biden announced that he drank the budget.
"He will invest in medical research, safety, veteran health, disaster recovery, VAWA funding - and provide critical assistance to Ukraine," the US president said.
