During the day, the enemy shelled the Kherson region almost 80 times, two civilians were killed and 9 civilians were injured.
"The Russian invaders fired at the territory of the Kherson region 79 times. The enemy drove artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks through the peaceful settlements of the region," said Yaroslav Yanushevich, head of the Kherson regional military administration.
Yanushevich specified that Kherson was attacked by the Russian army 32 times.
In particular, enemy shells hit a car market, a public utility, private and apartment buildings.
"In the past 24 hours, 2 people were killed due to Russian shelling, 9 residents of the Kherson region were injured of varying severity," the head of the OVA added.
