The Russian occupiers in the Luhansk region close the villages, take the local population to Luhansk and torture them because of suspicions of adjusting the fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their positions.
Opponents also mock men who do not want to fight, the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, Serhiy Gaidai, said on the air of an information telethon.
“There are already many facts, they close entire villages for entry and exit, dozens of people are taken away, taken to Luhansk, they are trying to make collective responsibility for explosions, now regularly in warehouses with ammunition (ammunition - Ed.) and barracks where personnel are stationed . They blame the local population," he said.
The official added that there are not rare cases when men who do not want to fight are taken to Luhansk and then tortured. Gaidai also said that some locals were shot on the spot.
According to him, at present, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have consolidated their positions in Belogorivka, where constant shelling from the Russians and attempts to push through the defense line do not stop.
"From the Kharkiv direction, step by step, our troops are liberating the territory of the Luhansk region. Yes, this is not happening quickly ... but there is a huge invasion of both personnel and equipment, and everything is mined. Plus, when the invaders saw that they were sinking a little in the direction Kremennaya, then they began to overturn additional forces and means there," the head of the UVA said.
He added that Russians are constantly approached by reserves of freshly mobilized and "Wagnerites".
