Maxar Technologies showed what Bakhmut of the Donetsk region looks like from a satellite after Russian bombing. For comparison, published images dated August 1, 2022 and January 4, 2023.
On Twitter, Maxar Technologies notes that the city has become a hot spot of the front and has experienced significant destruction due to the bombing of the Russian invaders.
The city has been the center of intense fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces over the past 6 months, and images show extensive damage to buildings and infrastructure.
