Germany is negotiating the transfer of self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery Gepard to Ukraine.
According to SPIEGEL, negotiations are underway with two countries that have Gepard and ammunition for them on their balance sheets.
Earlier, Germany handed over 30 Gepard installations to Ukraine, which proved to be effective in combating Russian drones, including Iranian-made kamikaze drones.
In addition, it became known that the Marder infantry fighting vehicles, plans to transfer which the German federal government announced the day before, will arrive in the first quarter of 2023. Nils Schmid, spokesman for foreign policy of the parliamentary group of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, on the air of rbb24 radio specified that we are talking about 40 infantry fighting vehicles, "without which the Bundeswehr can do without."
