During the day, the Russian invaders fired 39 times on the Kherson region, as a result, one person died, seven were injured, said the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Yaroslav Yanushevich.
"The Russian occupiers fired at the territory of the Kherson region 39 times. Peaceful settlements of the region were attacked from artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks," he said.
According to the head of the OVA, the Russian army fired at Kherson 9 times - residential areas of the city were under attack by the enemy army.
In particular, the shells hit private and apartment buildings, as well as the territory and building of the fire and rescue unit.
"Over the past day, due to Russian shelling, one person was killed - a rescuer, seven residents of the Kherson region were injured of varying severity," Yanushevich added.
