Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks near Bakhmut, Soledar and 10 other settlements in Donbas

Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in the area of Bakhmut, Soledar and 10 other settlements in the Donbass. On its Facebook page, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the situation at the front and enemy shelling.
"The enemy is conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdeevsky and Limansky directions, trying to improve the tactical situation in the Kupyansky direction. He is concentrating his efforts on capturing the Donetsk region within the administrative border, but there is no success.
Over the past 24 hours, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Chervonopopovka Kuzmino, Luhansk region and Soledar, Belogorovka, Podgorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchievka, Vodyanoye, Kurdyumovka, Mayorsk, Maryinka and Pobeda, Donetsk region.
The General Staff also noted that over the past day, the enemy launched 8 missile and 31 air strikes. Several cities suffered from shelling of the Rashists.
"He carried out 63 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems, including on the civilian infrastructure of the cities of Kharkiv, Kherson, Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region and Ochakov in the Mykolaiv region. There are casualties among the civilian population. The threat of enemy air and missile strikes on critical infrastructure remains throughout the territory Ukraine," the General Staff added.
Meanwhile, in the Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy shelled the positions of our troops and civilian objects in the areas of 11 settlements of the Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkov regions. In the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the enemy fired from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery in the areas of 22 settlements of the Kharkov and Luhansk regions.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy shelled areas of more than 25 settlements. In particular, Soledar and Bakhmut of the Donetsk region. In the Avdeevka direction, 7 settlements of the Donetsk region were exposed to fire.
3 settlements in the Donetsk region were shelled in the Novopavlovsky direction. In the Zaporizhia direction, districts of 21 settlements fell under fire. In the Kherson direction, the civilian infrastructure of Chernobaevka, Antonovka, Zolotoy Balka and Kherson suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
