British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has agreed to immediately provide Ukraine with four Challenger 2 battle tanks, with eight more coming soon.The British tabloid The Sun writes about this, citing a source in Downing Street.Sunak will inform Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about this on Saturday.According to the source, the British government "wants our actions to speak louder than words."This week, Sunak held talks with Defense and Security officials, telling them that sending tanks to Ukraine should be an operational priority.According to The Sun, both Prime Minister and Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace decided to send a tank squadron after strong lobbying from Zelensky."The Prime Minister has made it clear that the UK must fulfill its obligations to Ukraine. This includes providing critical weapons for self-defense and changing the balance of power on the battlefield," the source said.The UK offer will be part of a military package for Ukraine after European allies, including France and Germany, pledged to send armored vehicles.
