As a result of the Russian shelling of the Dnieper, five people were killed and dozens were injured.
According to the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentin Reznichenko, all the victims are in the hospital.
"27 people were injured. Among them, six children. All in the hospital. Already five dead," he wrote.
The head of the State Emergency Service, Sergei Kruk, said that during the search and rescue operation, 15 people were rescued from the rubble of the house.
"The units of the State Emergency Service are working in an enhanced mode. More than 80 personnel and more than 20 pieces of equipment of the State Emergency Service have been involved," he said.
The Office of the President showed how the rescue operation is going on: people are filmed with the help of cranes, they are signaled with flashlights and mobile phones.
The head of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Council, Nikolay Lukashuk, informs that 20 people have already been rescued, including 3 children. Also, according to his information, two (and not one, as informed) entrances were destroyed.
