The Russian occupying forces today launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine's critical infrastructure.
As stated in the message of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at about 13:00, the enemy launched Kh-101 / Kh-555 cruise missiles from eight Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea region and Caliber missiles from surface ships and submarines from the Black Sea . In total - 23 air and sea-based cruise missiles.
"At the same time, enemy tactical aviation activity was observed in the airspace in different directions. Su-35 fighters fired 5 Kh-59 guided missiles. Five Kh-22 cruise missiles were also fired from five Tu-22m3 long-range bombers (one of of these missiles hit a high-rise building in the Dnieper)," the message says.
The report notes that the air defense worked in the area of responsibility of all air commands - "Center", "South", "East" and "West".
