125 children abducted by Russia returned to Ukraine

It was possible to return to Ukraine 125 children who were illegally taken to Russia during the war.
This was announced by Adviser - Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Rights of the Child and Child Rehabilitation Daria Gerasimchuk during the opening of the "Ukraine is You" project at the World Economic Forum in Davos. According to her, today it is known about the abduction of almost 14 thousand children by the Russian Federation.
"We were able to identify and verify the data of almost 14,000 children who were abducted and deported by the Russian army, and, unfortunately, we can say that we managed to return only 125 of them back home," she said.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 456 children have been killed. Another 897 were injured. “While our presentation was going on, we learned that another child was pulled out from under the rubble in the Dnieper, who was killed by the Rashists,” she added.
Gerasimchuk noted that due to Russian aggression, more than 7.5 million Ukrainian children who were in Ukraine "got the war."
