Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks near 9 settlements: Russia unsuccessfully advances near Avdiivka

The Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed the attacks of Russian invaders in the area of 9 settlements, according to the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
"The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting an offensive in the Bakhmut direction. It is conducting unsuccessful offensive operations in the Avdeevsky direction," the report says.
At the same time, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Belogorivka in the Luhansk region and Sol, Krasnaya Gora, Bakhmut, Klescheevka, Vodyanoye, Nevelskoye, Marinka and Pobeda in Donbass.
As noted in the General Staff, the situation remains constant in the Volyn, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions. No enemy offensive groupings were found in the areas bordering Ukraine. The Republic of Belarus continues to support Russian armed aggression, and joint exercises of the aviation component of the regional grouping of the armed forces of Russia and Belarus continue at its airfields and in the airspace.
"At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking measures to prevent provocative actions or sabotage by the enemy, and air defense is being strengthened," the report says.
It is also said that over the past day the enemy continued to carry out artillery and mortar attacks along the entire line of contact. The areas of the settlements of Nikolaevka in the Chernihiv region were subjected to shelling; Rivne, Atinskoye, Iskraskovshchina and Novodmitrovka of the Sumy region and veterinary, Krasnoye, Lukyantsy, Neskuchnoye, Staritsa, Ogirtsevo, Gatishche, Volchansk, Rybalkino, White Well, Nesternoye, Dugouts, Novomlinsk, Bologovka, Kamenka and Dvurechnaya in the Kharkiv region.
In addition, in the Kupyansk direction, the areas of Kislovka, Berestovoye, Kotlyarovka, Vishnevoe, Ivanovka of the Kharkov region, as well as Novoselovsky, Stelmakhivka and Andreevka in the Luhansk region, were hit.
In the Limansky direction, the enemy fired from all available ground fire weapons at the areas of the settlements of Makeevka, Ploshchanka, Nevskoye, Chervonopopivka, Kremennaya, Dubrava in the Luhansk region and Ternia and Yampolovka in the Donbass.
At the same time, in the Bakhmut direction, Verkhnekamenskoe, Disputable, Vyemka, Belogorovka, Veseloe, Soledar, Krasnaya Gora, Paraskovievka, Bakhmut, Klescheevka, Kurdyumovka, Ozaryanovka, Druzhba, Zheleznoe and New York of the Donetsk region were subjected to fire damage by enemy artillery.
In the Avdeevka direction, Avdeevka, Vodiane, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye, Georgievka, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
Moreover, in the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at Ugledar, Nikolsky Dacha and Prechistovka, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporozhye direction, more than 10 settlements suffered from artillery fire, in particular, Vremovka and Novopol in the Donetsk region and Temirovka, Shcherbaki, Stepnoe, Kamenskoe and Plavni in Zaporozhye.
In the Kherson direction, the invaders continue to terrorize the civilian population. Mortar and artillery shelling, in particular, Antonovka and Kherson were subjected to, civilians suffered.
