Estonia will provide Ukraine with a record military aid package: what will be handed over

On Thursday, January 19, the Estonian government decided to provide Ukraine with military assistance in the amount of 113 million euros.
This aid package will be the largest donated by the country during the all-out war, according to ERR.
This time, the military aid package includes howitzers and ammunition. According to ERR, Estonia provides:
Dozens of 155mm and 122mm howitzers;
Thousands of shells and trucks for them;
Over a hundred Carl-Gustav anti-tank guns;
More than a thousand pieces of ammunition for them.
“Estonians know from their painful history what happens when evil wins and a big country swallows up small ones. If Ukraine falls, freedom in other parts of the world is also under threat. By helping Ukraine defend its independence, we protect the rights of all countries, including Estonia, to freedom and democracy. Therefore, it is inevitable to continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine," Prime Minister Kaya Kallas stressed.
She also stressed that "all countries should review their stocks and advocate for industries to be able to produce more and faster."
The country's government stressed that Ukraine turned to Estonia with a request to transfer this particular weapon. The country will take part of these funds from its own reserves. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already responded to Estonia's decision.
"I am sincerely grateful to Prime Minister Kaja Kallas for the largest military aid package announced today, which includes howitzers, grenade launchers and ammunition. Estonia has demonstrated its real support in the fight against the aggressor. We appreciate it. This is an investment in our common victory!" , he wrote on Twitter.
