Russian invaders launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. The mayor of Kramatorsk Alexander Goncharenko announced this on the social network Facebook.

"A missile attack on Kramatorsk. Again on civilian infrastructure. We are investigating the consequences," Goncharenko said.

Subsequently, the chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavel Kirilenko, specified that an enemy rocket fell near the kindergarten. "The consequences of the strike are being established," he wrote.

"The morning in Kramatorsk started very loudly. Rashists launched a missile strike, and there were at least two missiles, now it is reported that there was a third strike, they are investigating where it fell. The missile formed a funnel near the kindergarten. I note that this kindergarten is operational - before the war, until February 24, there were 325 children here. This garden is located in a very dense residential area," said Tatiana Ignatchenko, adviser to the head of the Donetsk OVA, on the air of the national telethon.

According to her, during this missile strike no one was injured, utilities are already putting things in order at the scene.

"This kindergarten is actually mothballed, our schools and kindergartens are not working now in the Donetsk region, the children are on distance learning," Ignatchenko said.

One person has now been confirmed dead as a result of a Russian missile attack on Kramatorsk. This was announced by the head of the Donetsk VGA Pavel Kirilenko on the air of the national telethon.

"Three strikes were made exclusively on civilian infrastructure. Near a kindergarten, one of the schools and a private institution, a dispensary. Nearby apartment buildings were also partially damaged. Now there is confirmation of one dead person," Kirilenko said.

He added that children and teachers from the affected kindergarten had previously been relocated to other cities and thus more dire consequences were averted.
