This was stated by the representative of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Jens Laierke, citing The Guardian.

According to him, a convoy of three trucks with supplies of food, water, hygiene products and medicines for about 800 people was sent to Soledar and taken to areas controlled by Ukrainian troops.

The UN spokesman said the trucks were sent from Dnipro. “People there are in dire need of help, so we are very happy that this convoy went,” Laierke said. And he assured that the UN is striving to increase the number of convoys with humanitarian aid near the front line.
