The media published a photo of a modern IRIS-T anti-aircraft installation, which Germany handed over to Ukraine. The fighter Vadim said that during the "baptism of fire" of the complex, he shot down all the targets.
"Already during the first baptism of fire in October last year, the complex shot down 100 percent of the targets, these are mainly cruise missiles," the anti-aircraft gunner ArmiyaInform told the publication.
Defender Vadim says that when they offered to go to study in Germany and master the new technique, he agreed without hesitation. After all, IRIS-T is one of the newest air defense developments in the world.
According to the anti-aircraft gunner, the German modern complex has significantly strengthened the air defense of Ukraine. But more of these weapons are needed, especially in the days when Russia is launching massive attacks on Ukrainian territory.
