Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repulsed the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of 11 settlements. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on the situation at the front in operational information as of 06.00 regarding the Russian invasion.
"Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repulsed the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Ploschanka, Nevskoye and Chervonopopovka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnekamenskoye, Paraskoveevka, Bakhmut, Kleschievka, Vodyanoye, Nevelskoye, Marinka and Ugledar in the Donetsk region," the statement said.
The General Staff notes that the situation remains stable in the Volyn, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, no offensive enemy groups have been detected, but joint training continues, under the guise of which the Russian Federation is building up an aviation group on the territory of Belarus.
Russian occupiers from artillery shelled the settlements of Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkov, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The General Staff notes that, in particular, in the Bakhmut direction, Controversial, Belogorovka, Razdolovka, Krasnaya Gora, Paraskovievka, Bakhmut, Klescheevka, Belaya Gora, Severnoye and New York of the Donetsk region were hit by fire. Velyka Novoselka and Vremovka, Donetsk region.
According to the General Staff, more than 20 settlements suffered from artillery fire in the Zaporozhye direction. Also, the invaders again fired at Kherson.
