Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks by Russians in about 12 settlements - the General Staff called "hot" directions

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repulsed the attacks of the invaders in the areas of 12 settlements. Fights were going on in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on the situation at the front.
"The units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Luhansk region and Razdolivka, Krasnaya Gora, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Kleschievka, Druzhba, Vodyanoye, Maryinka, Pobeda, Vuhledar and Prechistovka, Donetsk region," the new report says.
According to the General Staff, at present the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions. And in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the rashists are on the defensive.
"In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the situation has not changed significantly, no enemy offensive groupings have been detected," the General Staff added and warned that the threat of air and missile strikes remains throughout our country.
Meanwhile, in the Seversky direction, the enemy fired mortars at the areas of the settlements of Nikolaevka in the Chernihiv region, as well as Rozhkovichi and Bachevsk-Sumskoy. In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy does not stop shelling settlements along the line of contact. More than thirty settlements were subjected to fire damage.
In the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the enemy inflicted fire on the areas of more than 25 settlements. In the Bakhmut direction, more than 40 settlements were hit by fire.
On the Avdeevka direction, Avdeevka, Marinka and 6 other settlements came under enemy fire. In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy again fired on Bogoyavlenka, Vugledar and Zolotaya Niva.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy attacked more than 30 settlements. In the Kherson direction, 9 populated areas and Kherson were subjected to shelling from multiple launch rocket systems, cannon artillery and mortars.
