The Russian occupiers massively shelled the border settlements of the Chuguyiv, Kupyan and Kharkiv districts of the region.
As the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov reported, at least 23 settlements were under enemy fire, and the enemy used combat aircraft in the Kotlyarivka and Tabaivka districts.
"5 civilians, including a child, were injured and hospitalized as a result of massive shelling in the Chuguyiv district," Sinegubov said.
Also, according to his data, multi-apartment and private residential buildings were damaged in Vovchansk, there were fires, and the building of the emergency department was damaged.
"Two people were killed in the Dvorichna village of Kupiansk district as a result of shelling. In Kupiansk, private residential buildings were damaged by shelling," he added.
According to the head of the OVA, demining works are ongoing in the region. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 25 explosive objects.
