Lithuania provides Ukraine with 36 anti-aircraft missile systems.
Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anushauskas announced this at a joint briefing with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, answering a question about assistance to Ukraine in providing defense systems against Iranian kamikaze drones.
"We have already completed the training of 15 instructors who will be ready to work on the territory of Ukraine. And we are already providing 36 anti-aircraft missile systems that can successfully fight drones," the Lithuanian minister said.
In turn, Reznikov noted that Lithuania has already provided 36 air defense systems. According to him, it was decided not to train the operators of these anti-aircraft installations, but to train the instructors who will train the military in Ukraine. "This is such an important aspect of training modernization," Reznikov emphasized.
