Slovakia is ready to donate its MiG-29 fighters to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
As Tasr informs, Kyiv can receive 11 or 12 combat aircraft from Bratislava. At the summit of the European Union in Brussels, the Prime Minister of Slovakia Eduard Heger promised Volodymyr Zelensky the help that the President of Ukraine requested from him.
"The prime minister of the republic replied that Slovakia will do everything possible to fulfill this request," the message reads.
Earlier, Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nagy said that the Slovak government is ready to make a decision on sending fighter jets to Ukraine and it remains only to wait for this order.
