During today's Russian air attack, Ukrainian soldiers landed a cruise missile using man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS), which, according to their characteristics, are designed to destroy helicopters and aircraft.
A video of the combat work of the soldiers of the mobile fire group of the Bohdan Khmelnytsky radio engineering brigade was published by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The missile was hit in the south of the country.
"We continue to carry out combat missions and destroy the enemy in the Ukrainian sky," the message says.
As a result of the hit, a cloud of thick smoke appeared in the sky at the site of the rocket. Debris fell into the field.
