The United States signed contracts for the production of shells for Ukraine for $ 522 million

The United States has awarded $522 million worth of contracts to produce artillery ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces with two companies.
According to Radio Liberty, the order was received by Northrop Grumman Systems and Global Military Products. The US made the corresponding decision amid fears that Ukraine would quickly run out of artillery shells.
The United States plans to deliver ammunition from new shipments to Ukraine in March. The contracts were concluded as part of the Pentagon's initiative to maintain Ukraine's security.
