The Netherlands, together with Germany and Denmark, plan to provide Ukraine with about 100 Leopard tanks.
Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte stated this at a joint briefing with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. "Together with Germany and Denmark, we will provide 100 Leopard tanks, together with Germany and the United States, Patriot air defense systems, as well as Leopard-2 tanks with ammunition ...", he said.
Rutte also stressed that now it is necessary to do everything necessary for the victory of Ukraine and its defense from the aggressor country.
Answering a question from journalists regarding the timing of the delivery of tanks, Rutte noted that this will happen "as soon as possible." At the same time, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands added that Ukraine would receive tanks ready for battle.
