Near Bakhmut, border guards "minus" a group of invaders

In the suburb of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, the Ukrainian military carried out a counterattack and destroyed a group of invaders.

According to the State Border Service, over the past day, the border guards repulsed six enemy attacks and carried out one counterattack. So, in the battle, the border guards-mortarmen repulsed the attack of the enemy infantry.

"In the evening, in the suburbs of Bakhmut, our defenders with small arms fire stopped the advance of two dozen Wagnerites, who entrenched themselves in the structures and were waiting for fire support," the report says.

The border guards-scouts, in cooperation with the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, counterattacked the enemy.

"Six invaders were killed in close combat, nine were wounded, the rest of the invaders fled," the State Border Guard Service said.
