Tanks are the most powerful melee weapon. In anticipation of Western supplies, the Ukrainian military is making the most of Soviet-era T-80 armor. They are used both in the defense of their lines, and in the assault on enemy positions.
Sometimes fighters have to participate in direct tank duels. How they manage to emerge victorious from such battles, tankmen of the 35th Marine Brigade told TSN reporters.
Marine tankers showed on video what their armored vehicles are capable of. Mechanical drivers easily turn turns with 40-ton machines; dank field black soil is not a hindrance for their caterpillars.
Soldiers of the 35th brigade of marines - one of those who drove the enemy from the Kherson region, are now fighting in the Ugledar direction. They admit that several times on the battlefield they had to meet face to face with Russian tanks, and ours turned out to be more skillful.
Every ride is a mixture of adrenaline, fear and focus, the Marines say. During the battle, the main task is to destroy the enemy and return alive and unharmed.
