Winged "smart bombs" JDAM are already working in Ukraine - US General

Ukraine is already deploying JDAM smart bombs on the battlefield. This was stated during a round table for the media by the commander of the US Air Force in Europe, James Hecker, reports The War Zone.
The supply of these bombs, which can hit targets up to 45 miles (72 kilometers) thanks to retractable wing kits, is currently relatively small, Hecker said. However, they may already present real problems for the Russian armed forces.
Reportedly, the exact configuration of the JDAM-ER that Ukraine has received is unclear. Hecker also emphasized that the total number of JDAM-ER currently in Ukraine is limited. "They (the APU) have enough to land a couple of hits," he said.
