Ukrainian military repulsed more than 110 Russian attacks on the front line - General Staff

Over the past day, March 8, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled more than 110 attacks by Russian invaders along the front line.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main efforts of the enemy continue to focus on the conduct of offensive operations in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner directions.
As noted in the General Staff, Russia continues to violate the norms of international humanitarian law, continuing to strike, shelling civilian objects and houses of the civilian population, trying to destroy the critical infrastructure of our state.
"During the previous day, the enemy launched 25 air strikes, 2 missile strikes, and also carried out 32 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems," the report says.
According to the General Staff, no offensive groupings have been identified in the Volyn, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions. At the same time, the enemy fired at the areas of the settlements of Senkovka in the Chernihiv region; Kharkovka and Atinskoe, Sumy region and Strelechya, Ternova, Vilcha, Kamenka, Dvorichna and Golubovka, Kharkov region.
At the same time, in the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Gryanikovka, Disputed and Belogorovka. Russian invaders carried out artillery shelling of more than 15 settlements. Among them are Olshana, Kupyansk, Kislovka, Pervomaiskoye, Peschanoe and Cherneshchina of the Kharkov region; Stelmahovka, Nevskoye and Chervonopopovka - Luhansk, as well as Novoselivka, Wells, Dubrava, Berestovo, Yampol, Seversk, Razdolovka and Yagodnoe of the Donetsk region.
In addition, in the Bakhmut direction, the invaders do not stop assault operations in the direction of the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks in the areas of the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Dubovo-Vasilyevka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye and Aleksandro-Shultino. More than 10 settlements were subjected to enemy shelling, in particular, Zheleznyanskoye, Grigorovka, Bogdanovka, Bakhmut, Konstantinovka, Kurdyumovka, Ozaryanovka, Dilievka, Druzhba, New York and Northern Donetsk region.
Also, in the Avdiivka and Miners directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Kamenka, Severnoye, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye, Novomikhailovka, Maryinka and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region. Areas of 20 settlements were subjected to enemy shelling. Among them are Alexandropol, Lastochkino, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Karlovka, Georgievka, Vuhledar, Zolotaya Niva, Velikaya Novoselka, Nevelskoye, Krasnogorovka, Pobeda, Prichestovka and Neskuchnoye in the Donetsk region.
At the same time, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive. More than 30 settlements were subjected to shelling. In particular, these are Vremovka, Novoselka and Novopol of the Donetsk region, Gulyaipole, Zheleznodorozhnoe, Belogorye, Malaya Tokmachka, Orekhov, Novoandreevka, Kamenskoe, Temirovka, Olgovskoe, Krasnoe, Staroukrainka, Volshebnoye and Novoandreevka in Zaporozhye, as well as Zmievka, Vesele, Nikolaevka, Olgovka, Lvovskoe, Ponyatovka, Nikolskoe, Antonovka, Zelenovka, Dneprovskoe, Kachkarovka, Krasny Mayak, Tyaginka, Tokarovka and Fedorovka of the Kherson region.
