During the day, the invaders massively shelled the border settlements of Kharkov, Kupyansky and Chuguevsky regions. At least 20 settlements of the region were under fire.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov. "As a result of the shelling of the village of Olkhovatka, Kupyansky district, a center for the social and psychological rehabilitation of children and a school were damaged. About 10 private houses were destroyed. A 54-year-old civilian was injured. He was hospitalized in a state of moderate severity," Sinegubov said.
According to him, at least two private residential buildings were damaged by enemy shelling in Kupyansk, and fires broke out.
Sinegubov recalled that mine danger remains high in the region. "Yesterday, near the village of Dubrava, Izyumsky district, a 32-year-old local resident was blown up by a "petal" mine in the forest. He was hospitalized with a wound," the head of the Regional Police Department said.
He also added that the power engineers of the Kharkiv region restored the power supply to 100% of subscribers in Kharkiv. Work continues to restore the movement of urban electric transport. Sinegubov specified that 15,000 subscribers in Volchansk, Stary Saltov and Slatino remain without electricity in the region. But even there, power engineers will restore power supply in the near future.
