"Thank you to the soldiers for these 500 days": Zelensky arrived at Zmeiny

On the 500th day of the full-scale war, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Snake Island.
As the president said in Telegram, he honored the memory of the heroes who gave their lives in the battle for the island.
"500 days of full-scale war. Serpentine. Free island of free Ukraine. Grateful to everyone who fought here against the invaders. We honored the memory of the heroes who gave their lives in this battle - one of the most important during the full-scale war. Glory to each and every one who fights for the sake of security in our Black Sea! Honor!" Zelensky wrote.
The video shows that the president arrived at Zmeiny by boat, accompanied by the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak. Zelensky, together with Yermak and Ukrainian soldiers, laid flowers at the memorial to fallen soldiers.
"I want to thank from this place the victories of each of our soldiers for these 500 days. Our Armed Forces, our intelligence, the National Guard, our border guards, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, our signalmen, our people. I thank everyone who fights for Ukraine. And let the freedom that all our heroes wanted for Ukraine, and which is to be won right now, be an honor to those who gave their lives for Ukraine. We will definitely win. Glory to Ukraine," Zelensky said.
