The state concern Ukroboronprom has completed its activities as a named enterprise, the Military edition reports. it is reported that since the beginning of July it has been officially transformed into a joint-stock company Ukrainian defense industry.
According to the Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin, in the future, for full-fledged functioning, the JSC is waiting for a long process of reorganization in the form of transfer of staff and property, formation of a supervisory board, etc. defense industry of German Smetanin, who will hold this position until the formation of the supervisory board.
It is planned that the joint-stock company will be divided into 5 areas, these are: armored vehicles, aircraft repair, high-precision weapons, ammunition, radar and marine systems. it is also planned to introduce a new direction of unmanned aircraft in the future.
