The Russians are advancing near Avdiivka and Marinka: AFU fight back under heavy fire

The Russian occupation troops continue to carry out offensive attempts, in particular in the areas of Avdiivka and Maryinka. Over the past day, 26 combat clashes with the enemy took place at the front.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the Limansky direction, the Russians unsuccessfully tried to attack actions in the area south of Dubrava, Luhansk region, and in the Bakhmutsky direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas east of Stupochek and near Dilievka.
In addition, in the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from enemy aircraft and artillery, the Ukrainian military successfully repelled the attacks of Russian troops in the Avdiivka area. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the offensive of Russian troops in the area of the city of Maryinka, which is in the Maryinsky direction.
According to the General Staff, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions, the Russians are throwing their main forces to prevent further advancement of Ukrainian troops. It is noted that, in addition to shelling the positions of Ukrainian defenders, the Russian occupiers daily shell dozens of front-line settlements from aviation and artillery.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. There, Ukrainian defenders and defenders are fixed on the achieved lines.
